Third Announcement

Dear Colleagues!
Arrangements for the XVI International Conference on Pulsed Lasers and Laser Applications - AMPL-2023 are going on. The AMPL-2023 Conference will be held in Tomsk at the Institute of Atmospheric Optics SB RAS (1 Zuev square, Tomsk) from the 10th to the 15th of September 2023.We invite You to visit Tomsk and speak at the Conference. The Preliminary Program is available on the Conference website. The time indicated in the Program corresponds to Tomsk Time – TSK (MSK is TSK-4 & UTC is TSK-7).

Reports
All oral reports must be presented in English. Poster reports can be duplicated in Russian. Online presentations can be duplicated in Russian and contain audio accompaniment if necessary. The PowerPoint tools allow to overlay audio information on presentation slides. Then, it is necessary to convert the file to PDF format. Presentations with materials of the reports must be uploaded to the Conference website by September 4. For preparing presentations, please, see Recommendations.
 
The Organizing Committee reminds that all materials submitted to the Conference are open and should not contain information containing State secrets or Commercial confidentiality.
 
Please, download presentations, posters, and slides to the Conference website in PDF format only. These Conference materials will be in open access and can be read and downloaded from the Conference website by third parties. Please, use PPT or PPTX format for presenting in-person oral reports.
 
Standard software (MS Office) and a multimedia projector are provided for oral reports. For poster report, the Authors are provided with a stand with an area of 1 m2 (one sheet of A1 format). Placing a poster presentation on A4 sheets is unacceptable.
 
For nonresident and foreign Participants presenting poster reports, the Organizing Committee will organize printing of posters at the request of the Authors. If it necessary, please, inform the Organizing Committee via e-mail by August 31. If you need additional hardware or software, please, inform the Organizing Committee in advance. We will be glad to help you.
 
Conference proceedings
There is an opportunity to publish articles on the materials presented at the Conference in the special issue of the Atmospheric and Oceanic Optics journal and the Proceedings of SPIE. For this goal, it is necessary to prepare manuscripts in accordance with the rules of these editions and the Conference calendar. For publishing in the Atmospheric and Oceanic Optics journal, the manuscript has to be sent to the Organizing Committee via email. For publishing in the Proceedings of SPIE, the manuscript has to be uploaded via a direct link located in the Extra Info Section on the Conference website. Publication in the Proceedings of SPIE is paid and amounts to 10,000 rubles per article (The price is approximate since it was calculated as of the date of writing this letter. You can find out the current price on the Conference website when paying.).
The electronic versions of the Articles in the Conference Proceedings will be published by the beginning of the Conference.
 
Registration fee payment
You can pay the registration fee for participation in the Conference and publication in the Proceedings of SPIE using a bank card on the Conference website in the section Online Registration, Paper Submission, and Registration Fees. Please, follow the link "Pay registration fee".
 
Accommodation
The closest hotels to the Conference venue are Rubin. Please, book beforehand.
Hotel Rubin provides discounts for Conference participants. In order to take advantage of the discount, you have to book a room at the rate “For employees of the Russian Academy of Sciences” and provide the booking information to the Organizing Committee.
 
Route
You can choose and purchase tickets for Moscow-Tomsk flights on the websites of Aeroflot and S7 airlines. The Organizing Committee is considering the possibility of organizing a transfer from the airport to the Rubin Hotel. If you have purchased tickets, please inform the Organizing Committee about the dates and flight number.
 
Access to the Institute
The first entrance to the Institute will be carried out on the basis of passport data. The following information has to be provided by foreign Participants to the Organizing Committee by September 1: a scan of the main page of the passport (citizenship, passport number, date of issue, and expiration date), residence address, and indicate the Organization that the Participant represents.
 
 
We kindly ask you to add the registration or program number of the report in the "Subject" field for all requests to the Organizing Committee via e-mail.
