The XXVII International Symposium "Atmospheric and Ocean Optics. Atmospheric Physics" will be organized in Moscow, July 5–9, 2021.

Call for papers
It is planned to organize five conferences (A, B, C, D, E) in the frame work of the Symposium.
A. Molecular Spectroscopy and Atmospheric Radiation Processes
Topics: Molecular Spectroscopy of Atmospheric Gases. Absorption of Radiation in Atmosphere and Ocean. Radiative Regime and Climate Problems. Models and Databases for the Problems of Atmospheric Optics and Physics.
B. Optical Radiation Propagation in the Atmosphere and Ocean
Topics: Wave Propagation in Random Inhomogeneous Media. Adaptive Optics. Nonlinear Effects at Radiation Propagation in the Atmosphere and Water Media. Multiple Scattering. Optical Communication. Image Transfer and Processing. Estimation of the reliability of metrological measurements.
C. Optical Investigation of Atmosphere and Ocean
Topics: Optical and Microphysical Properties of Atmospheric Aerosol and Suspension in Water Media. Elemental and ionic composition of impurities in the surface layer. Transport and Transformation of Aerosol and Gas Components in the Atmosphere. Laser and Acoustic Sounding of the Atmosphere and Ocean. Diagnostics of State and Functioning of Plants' Biosystems and Biological Objects. Optical-electronic complexes for problems of optics and atmospheric physics. Monitoring of water bodies according to remote sensing data. Active shooting systems for studying the atmosphere and the ocean.
D. Physics of the troposphere
Topics: Structure and Dynamics of the Lower Atmosphere. Dynamics of the Atmosphere and Climate of the Asian Region. The results of the monitoring of the troposphere from the data processing measurements using the Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). Radiophysical and Optical Techniques for Probing the Terrestrial Atmosphere and Underlying Surface. Forecast of Сlimate Сhange. Modeling of atmospheric phenomena using interactive map services. Climate change forecast.
 E. Physics of the middle and upper atmosphere
Structure and Dynamics of the Middle and Upper Atmosphere. Physical Processes and Phenomena in the Thermosphere and the Ionosphere of the Earth. Climatological Studies of the Upper Atmosphere. Interrelation of Processes in the Lithosphere, State, Ionosphere, Magnetosphere and the Sun. Development of Methods for Monitoring the Upper Atmosphere Using GNSS. The Use of GNSS for the Development of Empirical and Physical Models. Changes in the global gravitational field of the Earth.
 
Symposium schedule includes plenary (30 min), invited (20 min), oral (15 min), and poster reports.

Working languages of the Symposium are English and Russian.

Authors should submit an original paper (4 pages) and registration form using the on-line submission procedure on the site https://symp.iao.ru/ru/aoo/27/register
 
Submission Guidelines
Your submission should include the following information:
Presentation Title.
  1. Names of Authors (principal author first).
  2. Affiliation, mailing address, telephone, fax, and e-mail address for each author.
  3. Abstract text (approximately 100 words, English language).
  4. Text of the paper (4-pages, English language)
Text format is MS-WORD (Family.rtf , Times New Roman, 12 pt). The form will be accessible on the page for this symposium of the site https://symp.iao.ru/en/aoo/27/auxinfo  
The deadline for submitting papers is March 29, 2021.
 
Proceedings of SPIE (The International Society for Optical Engineering http://spiedl.org/) with the reports presented at the Symposium will be published in electronic form.

A special issue of the open-access journal Atmosphere (SCI journal, Impact Factor: 2,397) is planned.
