It is planned to organize five conferences (A, B, C, D, E) in the frame work of the Symposium

A. Optical Wave Propagation in the Atmosphere and Molecular Spectroscopy
Topics: Wave Propagation in Random Inhomogeneous Media. Optical Communication. Applied problems of using optical and laser systems. Nonlinear Effects at Radiation Propagation in the Atmosphere and Water Media. Image Transfer and Processing. Adaptive Optics. Astroclimate. Absorption of Radiation in Atmosphere and Ocean. Radiative Regime and Climate Problems. Multiple Scattering. Molecular Spectroscopy of Atmospheric Gases. Models and Databases for the Problems of Atmospheric Optics and Physics.

B. Optical Investigation of Atmosphere
Topics: Laser and Acoustic Sounding of the Atmosphere and Ocean. Optical-electronic complexes for problems of optics and atmospheric physics. Active shooting systems for studying the atmosphere. Transport and Transformation of Aerosol and Gas Components in the Atmosphere. Optical and Microphysical Properties of Atmospheric Aerosol. Elemental and ionic composition of impurities in the surface layer. Diagnostics of State and Functioning of Plants' Biosystems and Biological Objects.

C. Optical Investigation of Ocean
Topics: Remote sensing, including lidars and colour satellite scanners. Validation of ocean remote sensing data from space. Instruments for measuring hydrooptic characteristics and properties of suspension. Underwater light fields. Biooptic characteristics of sea water (dissolved organic matter, chlorophyll, suspension, etc.). Regional biooptic algorithms. Monitoring of variability in sea water biooptics under the influence of climate and anthropogenic impacts. Optical properties of polar sea waters.

D. Physics of the troposphere
Topics: Structure and Dynamics of the Lower Atmosphere. Radiophysical and Optical Techniques for Probing the Terrestrial Atmosphere and Underlying Surface. The results of the monitoring of the troposphere from the data processing measurements using the Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). Dynamics of the Atmosphere and Climate. Forecast of Сlimate Сhange. Modeling of atmospheric phenomena using interactive map services.

E. Physics of the middle and upper atmosphere
Structure and Dynamics of the Middle and Upper Atmosphere. Physical Processes and Phenomena in the Thermosphere and the Ionosphere of the Earth. Development of Methods for Monitoring the Upper Atmosphere Using GNSS. The Use of GNSS for the Development of Empirical and Physical Models. Changes in the global gravitational field of the Earth. Climatological Studies of the Upper Atmosphere. Сlimate Сhange. Interrelation of Processes in the Lithosphere, State, Ionosphere, Magnetosphere and the Sun.

Symposium schedule includes plenary (30 min), invited (20 min), oral (15 min), and poster reports.

Working languages of the Symposium are English and Russian.

Registration and Paper Submission
Authors should submit an original paper (4 pages) and registration form using the on-line submission procedure on the  https://symp.iao.ru/en/aoo/31/register

Submission Guidelines
Your submission should include the following information:
         1.  Presentation Title
         2.  Names of Authors (principal author first)
         3.  Affiliation, mailing address, telephone, fax, and  e-mail  address  for  each author
         4.  Abstract text (approximately 100 words, English language)
         5.  Text of the paper (4-pages).
Text format is MS-WORD (Times New Roman, 12 pt). 

The deadline  for  submitting papers is April 25, 2025.

Symposium Location
Meetings  of  the Symposium will be held at  the  Institute  of  Atmospheric Optics  SB RAS (Tomsk, Acad. Zuev  Square, 1).
