In 2006, July 2–7 in Tomsk the Institute of Atmospheric Optics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SB RAS) will organize XIII International Symposium "Atmospheric and Ocean Optics. Atmospheric Physics".

It is planned to organize four conferences (A, B, C, D) in the framework of the Symposium.

B. Wave Propagation in the Atmosphere and Ocean
Wave Propagation in Random Inhomogeneous Media. Adaptive Optics. Nonlinear Effects at Radiation Propagation in Atmosphere and Water Media. Multiple Scattering in Optical Remote Sensing. Image Transfer and Processing.
C. Optical Investigation of Atmosphere and Ocean
Optical and Microphysical Properties of Atmospheric Aerosol and Suspension in Water Media. Transport and Transformation of Aerosol and Gas Components in the Atmosphere. Laser and Acoustic Sounding of Atmosphere and Ocean. Diagnostics of State and Functioning of Plants' Bio systems.
D. Atmospheric Physics
The conference is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the ionospheric research in Russia
Structure and Dynamics of the Lower and Middle Atmosphere. Dynamics of the Atmosphere and Climate of the Asian Region. Physical Processes and Phenomena in the Earth's Thermosphere and Ionosphere. Radio and Optic Techniques for Probing the Terrestrial Atmosphere.
Format of the Symposium proposes presentations of invited papers (20-30 min), oral presentations (10-15 min), and poster presentations.
Working languages of the Symposium are English and Russian.
Submission of abstracts
Authors have the option to submit abstracts by e-mail symp2006@iao.ru or mail to Scientific Secretary of the XIII International Symposium on Atmospheric and Oceanic Optics. Atmospheric Physics, 1, Akademicheskii Ave., Tomsk, 634055, Russia. Abstracts will be published to the beginning of Symposium.

Abstracts and proceedings will be reviewed by the Program Committee or Conference Chairs.
Instructions for Submitting Abstracts
Your abstract submission must include all of the following:
1. Presentation Title.
2. Names of Authors (principal author first).
3. Affiliation, mailing address, telephone, fax, and e-mail address for each author.
4. Keywords (maximum of five keywords).
5. Abstract text (approximately 250 words, language of abstract is English).
6. Conference (please indicate the related topic most nearly coinciding with the subject matter of the paper).
7. Type of presentation (please indicate your preference for Oral or/and Poster presentation).
Accommodation in Tomsk
On your request the Organizing Committee will reserve a room at the hotel «Rubin» or other hotels of Tomsk.
A valid passport and visa are required to entry Russia. The Organizing Committee will arrange visa support, if necessary, provided applications are made at least 2 months in advance.
Preliminary Program together with information on the registration, symposium fee, social program, and hotel reservation procedure will be included in the third announcement available in May, 2006.
Proceedings of the Symposium
