Second Announcement

Dear colleagues,

The Opening Session of the Xth Anniversary International Symposium on Atmospheric and Ocean Optics and Atmospheric Physics begins at 10:00 on June 24 in the conference hall of the Institute of Atmospheric Optics, Tomsk (Academgorodok). Registration of the participants opens from 10:00 on June 23.

Your oral presentation has been allocated 15 min, which includes discussion.
Invited report has been allocated 30 min.
Poster authors will be able to set up their poster papers in the poster area. The size of the poster board is 0.6 � 0.8 m (format A1).
If the poster paper is written in Russian, the title and the author name(s) should be translated into English.
If you cannot attend the Symposium, please inform who will present your poster paper.

Participant Registration Fee

The registration fee is 500 rubles for citizens of CIS countries and 170 USD for others. The participants who paid the registration fee are provided with kits including Abstracts of Reports of the Symposium, a bag, a pen, and a ticket for the fourchette. Payments for a hotel accommodation and a banquet are not included in this sum. The registration fee is paid in cash at the registration. The Organizing Committee considers partial support of participation of young scientists. In addition, we ask you to submit before 25 April.

Participant Preregistration Form:

  1. Surname, name, and patronymic of the lecturer
  2. Accompanying person(s) (surname(s), name(s), patronymic(s), number of persons)
  3. Hotel reservation
  4. Your age
  5. Demonstration equipment required for your presentation.

Accommodations

Accommodations of the participants of the Symposium are assured in the Rubin hotel approximately 500 m from the Institute of Atmospheric Optics if reservation is made. The price (for the end of March) for person in a single room is around 490-600 rubles/day and 700-740 rubles/day in a double room (for two persons).

Transportation

By air: Any bus from the Tomsk Airport to the bus stop "Pochta." Further by bus No. 5, 16, or 25 to the bus stop "Akademgorodok."
By rail: Bus No. 53 to the bus stop "Academgorodok." The bus stops at the square in front of the railway station.
